Redemption
by Barbara Philbrook

Redemption is the act of compensating for another's sinful way,
though we don't deserve it Jesus died for us that day.

The plan of salvation was created before the first man,
Jesus knew the price he'd pay before sin ever began.

God so loved us that He gave forth his only Son,
loving us so much, He is not willing to loose even one.

Now we don't deserve such unselfish love and devotion,
but God's love is pure, not built on human emotion.

Redeemed, oh how I love to proclaim it. Redeemed by the Son of man,
Redeemed, though we don't deserve it. Redeemed by God's salvation plan.

Redemption, it is offered absolutely for free,
the only condition is acceptance, the choice made by you and me.

Our Redeemer is returning, He draweth nigh,
He soon will be visable through an opening in the sky.

Prepare for salvation, invite Jesus into your heart,
and when the Redemption is completed, you too will take part.
