Reminders
by Barbara Philbrook

I'm standing here on the deck watching the water rippling by under me,
it reminds me of how continual your love is and forever will be.

I see the pelicans and egrets waiting to be fed by a caring neighbor,
and am reminded how salvation was provided by my Savior.

The sun is warming and there is just enough cooling breeze,
Lord I am so grateful for both of these.

Just as the warmth and breeze are provided by you,
I'm reminded all of our needs will be met too.

I see in the evidence that is surrounding us each day,
that you will provide for us in the same loving way.

Please never let me take for granted the things You do for me,
Please let me be aware now and throughout eternity.

May I be reminded Heavenly Father of what I used to be,
and that through your grace I am now set free.

Accept my submission and use me I pray,
that others may see Your love offered to them today.

Send me reminders each and every day is my plea,
so that I never forget what You are to me.
