Resist the Devil. Resist him with all your might.
Hold onto the word. Hold on tight.

Resist the evil one, keep him at bay,
by delving in God's word every day.

Negative thoughts can worm their way in.
You may not even realize when they begin.

Concentrate. Be in control of each thought.
Keep those from God, throw out those that are not.

Sift through what you allow into your head,
otherwise you may end up with some you dread.

Be alert, be a sentry at your minds door.
Resist the devil and his thoughts galore.

Fill your mind with God's holy word,
and all of the wonders that have occurred.

Talk with our Father so He is personally known,
then walk in the direction you have been shown.

Reap the blessings of all you have sown.
Share the truths as you are shown.

Walk with the knowledge you know your Savior,
evidenced to others by your behavior.

Resist the Devil. He will receive his due,
paying for all the sorrow he's caused you.

Resist the Devil. I know you can,
because it's Jesus' strength on which we stand.
