Seek to Find
by Barbara Philbrook

Do you desire to know your Lord? "Seek to find",
we are instructed in First Chronicles chapter twenty eight verse nine.

Are you aware that on accepting Jesus he begins a new work on changing you,
Philippians 1:6 assures us that this is true.

The increasing of our knowledge of God is what we should strive,
we are told this in Second Peter first chapter verse five.

Now starting to worry is not what God intends for you,
if you doubt this open God's Word to Psalms fifty five verse twenty two.

Jesus told us not to worry read in John 14:27 what he had to say,
and 2nd Timothy 1:7 it is confirmed in another way.

We are not on our own when it comes to fear,
Hebrews chapter thirteen verse six assures us that God is our helper there.

We are even told what our disposition should be,
you can read about that in John sixteen verse thirty three.

We can be filled with a spirit of hope if we want to be,
turn your Bible to Romans Chapter fifteen verse thirteen and you will see.

The point I'm most desirous to make,
is that the Bible is a complete guide for us if only the time to read it we would take.

The time is coming when we will all be going Home to stay,
if you will open your Bible you will be  prepared to go on that day!
