Let's Share
by Barbara Philbrook

Jesus is my savior I learned this fact by reading in God's word,
the story is fantastic I'd love to share it if you haven't heard.

Long ago when the world was created and God knew it would fall to sin,
because of his deep love for us He lay out a plan by which we are allowed to win.

You see the price for sin is death there is no other price we could pay,
but out of the depth of his love God sent his Son to die on a cross our debts to pay.

Then after He died a miracle occurred on precisely the third day,
the tomb in which he was buried was empty then the door was rolled away.

What does this mean to those of us on earth,
it is provision for eternal life a gift of which we are not worth.

What do we do to receive a gift so divine and beyond our conception,
we believe what God and his Son did for us and accept what they did without hesitation.

On the day you pray this way the Holy Spirit moves into your heart,
from that very moment some changes from deep within you start.

Jesus promises it will not stop till the job is complete,
in other words the work will go on as long as our hearts still beat.

Now all this time since Jesus rose from the dead and went home to be with his father above,
he's preparing a place for us to spend eternity with him all living together in love.

And when you ask will he return to take us home for eternity,
no man knows the day or the hour only that every eye shall see.

Now if you choose not to accept this gift so lovingly offered to you,
there is an Evil One who will be delighted and take over it's true.

So as you read this short version that is written in hopes you'll  become an heir,
may it cause you to go to God's Word to read the whole story is my prayer.
