So Alone
by Barbara Philbrook

A world full of people yet I felt so alone,
then a stirring within where a seed had been sown.

There is One who knows you better than any other,
yes even better than your very own mother.

One who loved you before your conception,
and wants a relationship with no lies or deception.

One willing to bear any burden too heavy for you,
One who loves you no matter what you do.

One who will help where you are willing to learn,
and give you the power to be able to discern.

I recognized I was being offered salvation,
I cried out in thanks for this precious revelation.

I accepted what was being offered to me,
and now I shout to the world "Salvation is free".

Come, come all who are suffering or lost,
your salvation has been paid for at the cross.

Come forth liars, thieves, women of the night,
Jesus died so you could begin to live right.

Come now dear sinners before it is too late,
time is short of this there is no debate.

Never again to feel sad or alone,
knowing Jesus now walks beside you as the Bible has shown.
