Father I ask you to give me the strength to endure,
I wish to be strong enough no matter what comes forevermore.

No matter what I must face no matter how things appear,
may I remember you are and will always be there.

May my reactions speak loudly to those who observe,
letting them see you are my strength and my nerve.

Never taking credit for being able to withstand,
always letting others know you willingly hold my  hand.

All of the credit going where it is rightfully due,
as I loudly proclaim my gratitude and adoration for you.

Nothing, that is what I, without you, would be,
and that is what I wish to shout throughout eternity.
