The Words I Speak
by Barbara Philbrook

The words I speak are a gift from above.
My Father supplies them through His great love.

Not love for me, that is not what I mean,
but love for you, those who haven't yet seen.

Those who are seeking to find peace of mind.
Those who seek a solace of the lasting kind.

Those who are in pain and hurt more that they can bear.
Those who have been hurt by people who didn't care.

Those who feel they can never be forgiven,
and those who for perfection have striven.

Those lost and feeling alone.
Those who nothing but bitterness all their lives have known.

Wounded children used and abused.
Those who have sought help and have been refused.

People rejected and tossed out on their ear.
Ones who have lived in heartbreaking fear.

The words I speak are meant to bring you all home,
to let you know you are not alone.
