This World
by Barbara Philbrook

God created this world in just a few short days,
and we have taken all these centuries to desecrate it in so many ways.

We have depleted natural resources which we can not duplicate,
and we are removing the ozone layer at an alarming rate.

We have made extinct creations God made whose purpose of which we aren't even aware,
why we've probably even destroyed existences we didn't even know were there.

We were not and are still not appreciative of the blessings God gave to man,
and it probably won't be until we are Home with Him that we can than understand.

Time now is short and the total scope of it  is way  beyond our comprehension,
but if we all assertively  make an effort  we can seek His intervention.

Then perhaps whatever time is left can be put to use to carry out God's Master Plan,
and in so doing we can contribute to the salvation of our fellow man.

There are so many  things over which we have no power situations which we can not rearrange,
but if we all make the effort  to do His will maybe the end result we can change.

God so loved the World that He gave His only  begotten Son,
and the time for accepting salvation has not ended until He says the words "It Is Done".

We can each of us determine deep within our own heart,
that whatever there is that I may  do I long to achieve my  part.

So let us rally together, let us all work as one,
then when we are all at Home with our Father He will look on us and say "Well Done my children Well Done".
