We all desire to know we're loved,
but so many of us don't even recognize our God above.

We all desire to be accepted,
yet Jesus' offers are blatantly rejected.

We all desire to live a healthy life,
yet we don't claim the healing Jesus earned by His stripes.

We all desire that in luxury we'd reside,
but then reject the offer God makes to provide.

We all desire to be free of bondage and sin,
yet lock our heart's door and won't let Jesus in.

We all desire knowledge as a tool,
yet we seek not and continue acting the fool.

We all desire what is offered day after day,
yet we still act in the same sinful way.

If we could just all pray in one accord,
we could then be mighty servants for our Lord!
