We gather together to chat for a short time,
and the Holy Spirit makes the gathering just sublime.

Any time Christian friends gather and meet,
you can be certain they are in for a treat.

The Holy Spirit brings out the best in each,
and a lesson of love is what He will teach.

A mutual love for God and each other,
each recognizing their spiritual brother.

A common desire to serve the Master,
hoping their efforts will bring Jesus back faster.

Each striving to think of a perfect plan,
of how to be of help to their fellow man.

Each offering to give their lives as service to others,
in hopes more will become their brothers.

Each desiring to do their part,
since each has the Holy Spirit dwelling in their heart.

A meeting of minds hearts and souls,
each striving to do as described in the books of old.

We gather together and before we even think to depart,
each has been abundantly blessed in their heart.
