Welcome Jesus In
by Barbara Philbrook

If  you have a problem take it to the Father,
it does no good to just try harder.

I couldn't survive for even one minute,
if I forgot to invite God in it.

I am incapable of even the most minute task,
but God is my helper if I but ask.

We were never intended in loneliness to abide,
God always desired to walk by our side.

That is why He designed the Salvation Plan,
His deep desire to relate to man.

God knew sin would drive us apart,
and offers His Son to live in our heart.

There's no knob on the outside of the door,
He desires to enter in and be with us forevermore.

Open your heart open it wide,
welcome Jesus to come in and abide.
