We Must Be
by Barbara Philbrook

We must be all things to all people, not judgmental nor full of pride,
God is to do the judging and He judges on the inside.

Just because one's appearances are different does not change a man's worth,
God values each of us enough to send Jesus to this earth.

It's what is within the Heart that God is concerned with the most,
and when we invite Jesus in, it excites the Heavenly Host.

Singing and jubilation starts as each soul accepts His grace,
each and every Heavenly resident wearing smiles upon their face.

So as you go through your daily life,
ask your Heavenly Father to send you souls filled with pain and strife.

Give each the opportunity to choose the gift of love,
God will supply what is needed, He'll send it from above.

We must be kind to strangers for they may be Angels unaware,
so when you meet someone who is needy always be willing to share.

Thank You Heavenly Father for reminding me I've a long way to go,
and for the grace that you supply that is helping me to grow.
