Words
by Barbara Philbrook

Words are the means by which we tell others what is on our mind,
they are the means God used so that salvation and direction are what we could find.

Words are the process we use to converse,
words are the instrument of instruction for making life better or worse.

Words are how we learn of and accept God's great gift of love,
words are what we use to tell others how Jesus came from Heaven above.

Words can help others to understand what Jesus gave up and what He went through,
so that He could pay for the sins committed by me and you.

Words are one way in which we can give Homage to our Father above,
words can portray the praise we offer due to our great love.

Words can show others what we feel deep within our heart,
words can show the pain felt when we are forced apart.

Words that we use need not be groped for on our own,
words will be put in our mouths by our God in whom the truth of our heart is known.

God searches our hearts and knows what is in the very depth of our being,
and He loves us in spite of all that He is seeing.

He can take all that He sees and tell what should be passed on to another,
what would be benificial to a sister or brother.

He can put the words together to show a forsaken aching soul,
that we are each very special in his sight and much needed to make the final picture whole.

He can take the person with pain etched deep in their heart,
and make them aware that they too must contribute they too must take part.

Yes each and everyone of us is important in some special way,
won't you ask God to tell you how He wishes to use you today?

If we are all willing and all anxious to do our part,
then it's hard to imagine how Satan can win even one more heart.

Let's all gather round our Pastor and pledge to do as the Father asks,
let us each ask for and commit to our own personal task.

The sooner we commit to do as the Father asks each and every one,
the sooner we can hear Him say "Well done my children well done!".

There may be a single soul that no one but you can reach,
no matter what others say no matter how hard they preach.

When we stand before the Father on judgement day,
may "Mission Accomplished" be what we each hear Him say!

May every soul appointed to you and me be present and accounted for on judgement day,
and may the joy of salvation be on their faces too this is what I pray.
