Do You Worship?
by Barbara Philbrook

The thing in your life that is the most important to you,
this is what you worship wether you believe it or not this is true.

Is your relationship with God the thing that you think the most of each day,
is your relationship so important that you talk to your heavenly father constantly throughout the day.

When you find something in which you have been blessed by God,
do you immediately say thank you or would this reaction seem odd?

When someone calls and says something that will worry you,
is stopping to ask God's guidance the first thing that you do?

When you need something that you can't find in a hurry,
do you stop to ask God's guidance or do you get flustered and worry?

If your mate says something that touches you in a negative way,
do you rant and rave or take a moment to pray?

If another Christian makes a statement contrary to your belief,
do you allow that there are things about hich we can disagree or are you subject to grief.

Do you start each and every day with your father in prayer,
or do you wait till things go wrong before you go there?

Worshiping God means  living in his will is more important than living in your own,
and that you want to do exactly as you've been shown.

Whatever God wants of us that's what we should want too,
that's one way to know that our worship is true.

Put God above everything else for which you live,
and a perfect relationship with him is what he will give.

Nothing else will ever give you such rich satisfaction,
as having God's desire be your first reaction.
