You and God
by Barbara Philbrook

You and God pulled it through,
just as I knew you would do.

You sent that old devil scurrying away,
because you remembered to kneel and pray.

It's when we try to do it on our own,
that problems always overcome us, I've been shown.

I'm glad you knelt and gave it to God in prayer,
that way we are assured He was present there.

It's over now and each new day will be more grand,
because you placed yourself in God's precious hand.

Let's all thank God for the good work done,
we'll praise Him in the name of His Son.

Thank You Father for hearing our plea,
and returning our precious Marilyn to us safely.

Thank you Father in Jesus' name,
and during the next trial may we do the very same.
