Today begins the final year of this century, this millennium. A lot
has been said about Y2K. I am hoping that when January second rolls
around, I'll be able to come take a look at my web pages and see them right
where I left them. I hope and pray that all the hoopla was about nothing
and life will go on as usual.
My dreams for this year? I hope to have a couple of really wonderful
vacations. We have not had a true vacation since our honeymoon. We have
taken day trips and over night trips here and there, but a true vacation
has been a luxury we could not afford. This year we plan to visit friends
in Alabama and friends in New Mexico on two separate vacations. I, for one,
can hardly wait.
This year will be the year we celebrate one year in our own home, the first
calendar year in our own house...can you tell I'm excited to own my own
home?
I never make New Year's resolutions. Why make 'em to break 'em? Instead,
I pray each year for my family to grow closer together and closer to Jesus; I
pray for blessings on my family and friends; and I pray for peace in our world
and in our hearts. May you have a peaceful, blessed new year in 2000, and may
the coming new millennium in 2001 bring you peace and prosperity.
And a little bubbly... that's not so bubbly after all... hehehe These are New Year gifts I received from my friends.
Thanks, GGG.
Thanks, Astro.
