ROSE CAMELLIA

The Camellia is one of the most showy of flowers to be seen in the southern part of the United States. A medium size shrub, native to China and Japan. The various colors are red, pink, rose, white and variegated.

The Camellia grows best in partial shade, in fairly damp places, however if well cared for they will do fairly well in drier soil with frequent watering. They blossom in late Fall and early Winter.
