Johannes Snelson was born before
February 10, 1593
in Eccleshall, Staffordshire, England.
He married Margaret about 1632 in England.
"John " died May, 1659 in
Eccleshall, Staffordshire, England.

John Snelson was born before June 28, 1640.
He married Katherine Grime, daughter of
Jeffrey Grime, June 5, 1664 in
Eccleshall, Staffordshire, England.
John died in October, 1690
and is buried in
Eccleshall, Staffordshire, England.

Charles Snelson was born before
October 3, 1678
in Eccleshall, Staffordshire, England.
He married Elizabeth.
Charles was the first of our Snelson's
to come to America.
He emigrated about 1775.
He was a Justice of the Peace.
Charles died before 1730 in
Hanover, Louisa County, Virginia.

John Snelson was born April 9, 1704
in Virginia.
He married Elizabeth about 1724
in Buckingham, Virginia.
He died about 1775.

Thomas Snelson was born about 1729 in
Hanover, Louisa County, Virginia.
He married Miss Anderson, daughter of
Bartlett Anderson and Mary Cosby.

John Thomas Snelson was born July 4, 1759
in Buckingham County, Virginia.
He married Deborah in 1781
in Wilkes County, Georgia.
John Thomas was a preacher in the old Regular
Baptist Church for 40 years.
In 1829 he traveled from Ohio by covered wagon
to the Merrimac Iron Works seeking employment.
John Thomas and Deborah are both buried
at the Pinehill Cemetery, Phelps County, Missouri.

Marshall Snelson was born about 1784
in Edgefield County, South Carolina.
He married Mary about 1808 in
Buncombe County, North Carolina by
Marshall's Dad, Rev. John Thomas Snelson.
Marshall died about 1834 in
Crawford County, Missouri.

Whilliam M. Snelson was born about 1825
in Ross County, Ohio.
He married Rebecca Dunnegan August 7, 1855
in Texas County, Missouri.
William and Rebecca are buried in the
Denney Cemetery, near Ava, Douglas Co., Missouri.

Serena Elizabeth Snelson was born in 1861
in Ozark County, Missouri.
She married Perry Denney, son of
Crawford Denney and Margaret "Polly" Hammons,
December 16, 1880.
Serena died June 9, 1936 in Ava, Douglas Co., Mo.
and Perry died November 15, 1938 in
Ava, Douglas County, Missouri.
They are both buried in the Denney Cemetery,
near Ava, Douglas County, Missouri.
