Teddy Bears Picnic
If you go down to the woods today
You're sure of a big surprise
If you go down to the woods today
You'd better go in disguise.
For ev'ry bear that ever there was
Will gather there for certain, because
Today's the day the Teddy Bears have their picnic.
Ev'ry Teddy Bear who's been good
is sure of a treat today.
There's lots of marvelous things to eat
And wonderful games to play
Beneath the trees where nobody sees
They'll hide and seek as long as they please
'Cause that's the way the Teddy Bears have their picnic
If you go down to the woods today
You'd better not go alone
It's lovely down in the woods today
But safer to stay at home.
For ev'ry bear that ever there was
Will gather there for certain, because
Today's the day the Teddy Bears have their picnic.
Picnic time for Teddy Bears
The little Teddy Bears are having a lovely time today
Watch them, catch them unawares
And see them picnic on their holiday.
See them gaily gad about
They love to play and shout;
They never have any cares;
At six o'clock their Mummies and Daddies,
Will take them home to bed,
Because they're tired little Teddy Bears.
Don't Give Up
When things go wrong as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When funds are low and debts are high,
And you want to smile but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest, if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As everyone of us sometimes learns.
And many a failure turns about when he might have won had he stuck it out.
Don't give up though the pace seems slow - You may succeed with another blow. Success is failure turned inside out, The silver tint of the cloud of doubt.
And you never can tell how close you are - It may be near when it seems far. So stick tothe fight when you're hardest hit: It's when things seem worst You must not quit.

Children Learn What They Live
If a child lives with criticism He learns to condemn. If a child lives with hostility he learns to fight. If a child lives with ridicule he learns to be shy. If a child lives with shame he learns to feel guilty. If a child lives with tolerance he learns to be patient. If a child lives with encourangement he learns confidence. If a child lives with praise he learns to appreciate. If a child lives with fairness he learns justice. If a child lives with security he learns to have faith. If a child lives with approval he learns to like himself. If a child lives with acceptance and friendship he learns to find love in the world.

Believe In Yourself
Believe in yourself and in your dream Though impossible things may seem Someday, somehow you'll get through To the goal you have in view
Mountains fall and seas divide Before the one who in his stride Takes a hard road day by day Sweeping obstacles away Believe in yourself and in your plan Say not - I cannot - but I can At the end of this rainbow lies your pot of gold Do not give up, see your dreams unfold.

I Like Hugs
It's wondrous what a hug can do, A hug can cheer you when you're blue. A hug can say, 'I love you so'... Or,'I hate to see you go'. A hug is 'Welcome back again!' And 'Great to see you!' or 'Where've you been?' A hug can soothe a small child's pain, And bring a rainbow after rain. The hug! There's just no doubt about it, We scarcely could survive without it. A hug delights and warms and charms. It must be why God gave us arms. Hugs are great for fathers and mothers, Sweet for sisters, even brothers, And chances are, some favourite aunts Love them more than potted plants. Kittens crave them. Puppies love them. Heads of state are not above them. A hug can break the language barrier. And make the dullest day seem merrier. No need to fret about ythe store of'em: The more you give, The more there are of 'em. So stretch those arems without delay And give someone a hug today.

Friends
without Faces
We sit and
we type and we stare at our screens,
We all have to wonder, what this possibly means,
We chat with each other, we share all our woes,
Small groups we do form and gang up on our foes.
We wait for
somebody to type out our name,
We want recognition and offer the same,
We give kisses and hugs and sometimes we flirt,
In rooms we chat deeply and reveal why we hurt.
We form friendships
but why is a thing we don't know,
Though most often founder some will flourish and grow,
Why is that on screen, we can all be so bold,
Telling our secrets that have never been told?
Why is it
we share those deep thoughts in our mind
With those we can't see, as though we were blind?
The answer is simple, it's clear as a bell.
We all have our problems and need someone to tell.
We can't tell "real"
people, but tell someone we must
So we turn to the 'puter', and to those we can trust.
Even though it is crazy, the truth still remains
They are Friends without Faces and with odd little names.
