December 4, 2000: We had an ultra sound today to check on the baby's progress and found out that we're going to have a baby girl :) I'm so excited ! We will probably be naming her Chloe Rose (unless we change our mind for the umpteenth time).
  The ultra sound was the most amazing thing ! We still can't get over the things we got to see. When they scanned over to her face they pointed her mouth out to us. It was like a little "O" Then her little mouth started to open a bit and she let out this big, long yawn and then stretched her arms above her before settling them down on either side of her chubby little cheeks. She was really tired !
  We got to see everything ; we saw her arms, hands, legs, heart & all the chambers, her brain, spine and little butt cheeks :) It was just wonderful. At the end they scanned back up to her again and she was flipping us off with her middle finger and then twisted her hand and gave us the "peace" sign with the two fingers of her right hand (photo below). lol
  We will never get those images out of her mind and it just made us more excited. When I saw that little face and yawn of hers I just melted and could hardly contain my laughter and tears. I can't wait to meet you Chloe Rose !!




  Here are two ultra sound photos they gave us of our baby. It may be hard to make out for most people but I'll try and explain them as best I can. Her face is in the center of the pictures.







In this shot you can see the her nose.See where the word "nose" is on the picture ? The "n" is touching the tip of her nose and below are her two nostrils. Directly below her nose is her open little mouth-the dark "O" shape (below that her chin), to the right is her round cheek. The two oblong shapes around her face are her arms.




In this picture is another shot of her face. Not sure if you can make it out but up at the top it says Top Head. This is the top of her head and forehead. To the left of her face there is a black hollow shape. This is her left eye (below is her chubby cheek sticking out to the left). To the right of that you can barely make out the ridge of her nose. The "V" shape to the left of her forhead is her fingers giving us the "peace" sign :) The tech wrote in peace right next to it.
