Ho, long time ago. I would have been Mayfield
High class of 73, we went to Okinawa in the
summer of 72. Friends I have missed since
then....Rodney McNutt, David Fulp, Connie and
Marybeth Brill. Life at White Sands
then....small place for a teenager with a
motorcycle......activities; hangin, shootin pool
at the teen club, racing motorcycles in the
desert--trying to get the MP's to chase use to
have some fun, (poor guys were GI's just a
couple years older than us, we both enjoyed
the fun), teen club dances, summer days at
the O Club pool, making the trip over the
mountains every day to go to Mayfield High,
climbing in the mountains past the reflector.
Whew! lots of memories. Anyone of my era,
feel free to email me. Aloha, Michael

My brother Craig turned me on to this site, it's excellent! Living at WSMR was cool - the Teen Club, Bowling Alley, baseball/football(WSMR Rangers and Cowboys), PARTYing in the desert, hiking/camping in the Organs, Aguirre Springs, flying down the pass, e

Just looking at some of the names I've found while browsing this site has brought back a lot of memories.

Donnie thank you for getting back in touch with me. I would be good to hear from all the people that we hung out with. We went through some great times and some bad times, but we always stayed together. So lets see if we could get Linda, Nani, Tammi, D
nny to get on this so we know what is going on in their life. White Sands where always be close to my heart, as a lot of my firsts in life happened there.

Most won't remember me but I had the old Willis Jeep and that big handle bar mustache. That mustache was better than a fake ID back in "84" when I graduated. I lived on Tooele.

First, I hate to enform everyone that the reflector has been taken down. Don't ask.
Anyway, I was there from 84-91 and enjoyed everybit of it. I lived in three different houses but 302 Hawk is the only one I can remember the address to. I still get wierd 'Where?' looks from people when I tell them where I grew up at. They will never unde
stand. Glad I ran into this site!

Wow, did this bring back some memories. Have been back to WSMR several times over the years for all kinds of Army stuff. She is a shell of her former self. If the Army told me I could go back, I would not hesitate for a moment. Would like to visit

Almost gave up on this site but thanks to Gregs efforts it is truly enjoyable to visit and read about old times. I often think of those that sign in and wondered what it would be like to get together again. Any Class of 80 go to reunion. Would love to see
pics. Greg, you able to post jpegs? Or do you want us to send original photos. I have some great but embarrassing ones. Hey Sammy Lee...Sleeone@aol.com sign in!

My family moved to WSMR in 72. We finally packed up and left in 1980. I remember hanging out in front of the corner at Steve Leavells house. It seems everyone used to do that just becuase. Ann Ilgenfritz was my neighbor for many years. She and I stil
keep in touch. I used to hang out mostly with Kelly Lewis and Jamie Williamson. I regrettably have lost touch with them. Most of the times I remember are from the horse shows and baseball in the summer. I think I spent so much time at the riding club
I missed out on alot of fun with the folks at school. Gerald Williams, AKA JR, definitely is still a memory of antics and many great laughs. Does anyone remember Mr. Cowdry or Prison dodgeball. I remeber summers at the O'club pool, climbing the hill to
the reflector and walking through the dessert looking for god knows what. The stuff we did for kicks. I am now working for American Airlines, based out of Chicago, commuting from Dallas. I fly out of Chicago because I prefer the flying out of there. I
can usually hold London. A city which has now become my home 15 days a month. Suiting for a military brat. Most people can't imagine what life on the road is like, and its only normal to a military brat. I haven't married, as there are so many men an
so little time. My job doesn't help either. As an Army brat, you all can appreciate what dating pilots is like.....the only guys who seem to understand or like the lifestyle. But it's a great life and I love it!!!! I may one day settle down....who kn

I would love to hear from friends from WSMR....so many great people from that time of life. It seems so odd to actually know names as a brat and feel such a "blast from the past." Moving so much made me feel totally disconnected or as if I has a past li
