Crab Baltimore


1 pound of crabmeat

2 tablespoons finely chopped celery

2 tablespoons finely chopped red or green pepper

3 tablespoons mayonnaise

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

1 tablespoons dry sherry

1 teaspoon Worcestershire

drops of hot pepper sauce, optional

1 tablespoon chopped parsley

salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons bread crumbs

1 tablespoon melted butter

Heat oven to 400 degrees.

Combine crab, celery, sweet pepper (I use onion) mayonnaise, lemon juice, sherry, Worcestershire, pepper sauce if used, parsley and salt and pepper in a large bowl. Divide among 8 scallop shells or ramekins. Combine crumbs and butter, sprinkle over the top.

Bake in 400 degree oven 10 minutes until hot and bubbly. The crumbs will brown lightly.
