Pregnancy Journal- page 12/3/1999 - A new year ~ life begins and amazing things happen. I AM FINALLY PREGNANT! :0) We did end up doing the IVF and it actually worked! We started the lupron a couple of days before New Year's...had the aspiration (ouch) on January 22. They took out 12 eggs, 6 fertilized. They froze 3 and transferred 3 ~ all very good quality. The transfer was on the 25th. So yesterday, I took an HPT b/c I was feeling rotten & BOOM! 2 wonderful lines appeared! I took a blood test later that morning...it came back 35, which is high for as far along as I am. So Friday- that number should be at least 70...and continue to double every 3 days. My progesterone level way 262- and only needed to be 15-25. Can we twins or triplets? Oh, I am so blessed!!!! Dh is on cloud 9- smilin' all the time ~ how wonderful he's gonna be as a Daddy. I can't wait! I feel so about this pregnancy. I told EVERYONE! Maybe I should've waited but - Oh, well! I gonna shout my joy from the rooftop! DH will help me I'm sure. Mom and Dad are still in shock I believe. But Mom secretly wants to jump for joy!
2/4/1999 - Today I went to Emergency Room. Mostly because I thought I was absolutely dying! It ended up being indigestion! HAHAHAHA Also, I have some hyperstimulation from the meds. It was a horrible feeling but seems to be just the beginning! I am SOOOOO ready!!!! Hope to keep writing such amazing and miraculous news!!!!!!!!! *smilin'*
