Note: Baron Roger IV was a crusader. He was also Lord of Conches and Flamstead, and had been Knighted for his services to the Crown. The Baron founded the Convent of Saint Giles in the Woods, located near Flamstead, Herefordshire. By marrying Constance of Beaumont, the Baron received Manor of Ailrichescot, in South Tawton.
