Note: Baron Doun of Bardolf, marrying Beatrix, daughter and heiress of Baron William of Warenne, acquired by her the Barony of Wormegay, in the county of Norfolk. Doun was also the Baron of Shelton, and he died in 1209, leaving his widow Beatrix surviving, who gave 3100 marks to the king for livery of her father's lands and a reasonable dowry from the lands belonging to her husband, such that she might not be compelled to marry again, according to her inclination.
