Ruthie Bolton-Holifield


Ruthie Bolton-Holifield is probably the most famous Greene Countian that
there is. Ruthie is a 1985 graduate of McLain High School.Ruthie was a member of the 1996 U.S. Women's Basketball Team
and won a gold medal in the Summer Olympics. Ruthie is a native of
McLain, Mississippi. There she attended McLain High School. She later went
on to play for Auburn, and of course, the USA Ladies Basketball Team. She is currently a member of the
San Fransico Monarchs in the WNBA where she plays the position of Guard.
