CAPS FOR KIDS

NOTES

VANNA WHITE joined with Lion Brand in 1994 to promote crocheting and knitting.
She donated a cap to Caps For Kids and a baby blanket to Warm Up America.

LEISURE ARTS has produced a leaflet (#723) for CFK and
is donating the royalties from that leaflet to the caps program.

CAPS FOR KIDS was the winner of the J. C. Penney Golden Rule Award in 1989 and the
Hobby Industry of America's President's Award in 1993.

IN 1995, Campbell's Soup recognized CFK's participation in USA Weekend's Make A Difference Day by donating their food products to homeless shelters and food banks in Caps For Kids' name.

Knitters and crocheters in Canada, England, Germany and New Zealand have joined in the program. There's even a branch of Caps For Kids in Australia called "Aussie Hats."
