The Down Syndrome Webring was created in May 1997. As
more sites have been added, I have found it necessary
to create guidelines for joining the Down Syndrome Webring.
To be added to the Down Syndrome Webring, the following
guidelines must be met:
1. The site joining the ring must be related to Down
Syndrome.
2. The site must be well maintained.
3. No sites will be accepted that are not suitable for
viewing by children.
4. The site must offer something of value to its visitors
beyond advertising services or products.
5. Thirty (30) days are allowed to have the webring
coding on your page. If not, your site will be automatically
removed from the queue. You will then need to resubmit
your site if you still want to join.
6. Once you have joined, you are not yet added to the
webring. Your site remains in the queue until you have
added your webring coding. Once you have done this,
send the ringmaster an email asking to be added to the
webring.
**NOTE: for those who are already
in the webring under the new system, you do not need
to add additional coding.**
Only the Ringmaster of the Down
Syndrome Webring can add you to the ring.
**All sites are subject to approval by the Down Syndrome
Webring Ringmaster, who reserves the right to refuse
or remove any site for any reason.
**If you know of a Website that should be part of this
ring, please let them know about the Down Syndrome Webring.
