This is a cockatoo. I have not raised any Cockatoos, but they are a very affectionate bird and make great pets too. They are considerably larger than a Cockatiel. They also demand more time than the normal bird because they are very intelligent and desire more contact. They can if they get too lonely pick up bad habbits such as "plucking", or pullijng out feathers when bored. Once this starts it is very difficult to stop. |
