Information about Schools:

1. McKinley Elementary School:

had lots of fun learning about the Scandinavian Countries (Northern Europe). This is where I had picked up my Scandinavian Accent. They really taught me alot about Tradition, Honor, the Flag, Mother and the Apple Pie. Also met a lot of interesting classmates who I still today have fond memories of.

2. Perry Elementary School:

Information about Perry Elementary and Perry High Schools can be found here

Met my new classmates in 6th grade. There were 2 other Charles's in class and only one other David, so instead of being called by my first name like I wanted to be called, continued to be called David. Had my first and only fight with a boy who took off when I stood to face him. We both had to go to the principal's office for being off school grounds. ( I didn't know where the boundary was since my last school was fenced in and Perry Elementary wasn't.) So I got off with a warning instead of ????

3. Perry High School:

The old High School where I graduated from before the atomic plant went in North Perry.

Met a great bunch of classmates who I still deeply have feelings for their success in life. I Lettered in Chess (6 years member of Chess Club and played 4th-5th board on the Chess team), Chorus (4 year member sang bass and performed in Christmas pageants and also competed in County Competiton), Cross-Country (Had to quit team due to working Senior year, of course we took County Championship then.)and Track (Ran 440, 880, Mile Relay and the Mile). Graduated in the upper half of my class of 76 students.
