I am also interested in the parents of another George Boswell who married a Sarah Johnson and came to Georgia about 1800 and settled in Wilkes County. HARRIS, ARMOUR, BROWN, OWEN, BREEDLOVE, MUSGROVE, MERRITT, NELSON, RILEY........ Elizabeth Williamson HARRIS,b 1799 NC, married 1819 in Greene Joshua CANNON b 1795 SC. I have material on two seperate lines of HARRIS in Greene, but can not tie Elizabeth in. Does anyone know her parents?.......... John ARMOUR d aft 1827 Greene Co. Ga. His first wife was Martha, and the second was Nancy CALDWELL. These children are proven by a later newspaper article in the Greene Co. Newspaper. John was child of James of Mickleburg Co.N.C., and sibling of Andrew and James also in Greene. The "boys" were in the Rev. in S.C. and N.C. Cynthia ARMOUR married Archibale GRAY in Greene.......... William BROWN d bef 14 Aug 1806 Greene Co. Ga. He had at least three children: Elizabeth married Booth FITZPATRICK, Reuben married Elizabeth LANE and Ezekiel married Elizabeth MERRITT. Another probable child was William Jr. who is shown as son in FAMILY HEADS 1805 Ga. as a child. Ezekiel was Ex. of the will, as advertised in the Savannah newspaper at the time.Booth FITZPARTRICK proved his family by giving the slaves that he got to his children showrly thereafter in Wilkes Co. Ga. Ezekiel's children are proven by his Father-in-law William MERRITT in his will.......... Dr. Thomas Owen b a 1725-30 Va. d 5 Sep 1805 Greene Co. Ga. He married Jane whose maiden name is probably GLENN. He had land dealings with Spotsylvania Co. Va. after he moved to Greene. Who were his Parents? Hers?.......... Benjamin BREEDLOVE b a 1741 Va. d 1793 Greene Co. Ga. He married Mary Watkins. His brother John married her sister. They married in Lunenburg Co. Va. dtr. Rebecca married John LAMAR and lived Greene for many years.......... Jane Glen MUSGROVE d aft 1830 Greene Co. Ga. Her husband was Isaac ROBERTS and her Father Harrison MUSGROVE married Jane OWENS. Isaac ROBERTS was b a 1783 Va Who were their children? Only two children appear by 1850 in Meriwether Co. Ga. Several married there, and at least one in Greene. Who were Isaac's parents?.......... William MERRITT b 1755 D bef 22 Nov 1825 Greene, married Nancy (who? ). He lived in Nash Co. NC, and probably Mickleburg also. His bro only had two daughters in his will: Nancy who married Lemuel GREEN and Elizabeth who married Ezeliel BROWN.......... Margaret b 1787 d 22 Feb 1856 Greene Co. Ga. Her first husband was James McMICHAEL who died in about 1803 Jasper Co. Ga. Her second husband was William ARMOUR. She named a child by #2 James NELSON . Her son Reuben NELSON McMichael passed the name James NELSON down also, as did other siblings of both Father's. Was James NELSON her Father? If not, what was her name? She had earlier lived in Greene, before Jasper. Her second husband was Ex. of her first husbands will, so apparently she returned there, before she married him later.......... Thomas Lynch RILEY d 21 Nov 1830 Greene Co. Ga. He was the child of John. Rev. Sol. d aft 1820 Greene, and Nanch Jane LYNCH of Greene and Orange Co. N.C., as was John. John was son of Jacob Riley. His sister Mary married James GRAY and his sister Katherine married in Orange and also lived Greene. Who was Thomas Lynch RILEY's wife? His deathbed will named his son-in- law as ex. of his will, which only said "all my children". Who were the other children? Seaborn MCMICHAEL, his son-in-law married Elizabeth RILEY..........Please contact me if you have any information on any of the families listed above! Thank you, Gerry Hill
