There is a Fannie Brooks age 23 on 1870 Greene Co. census with Elizabeth BROOKS (Moody) as head of household. I am trying to find information whether the Fannie Brooks listed on the census was Elizabeth Brooks daughter or could she be her daughter-in-law and Franklin Brooks age 2 and Hixey Brooks age 3/12 belong to Fannie Brooks. If Fannie Brooks is her daugheter-in-law could she have been a Moody. On the 1880 Greene Co., Ga. census Fannie Brooks is listed head of household with 4 children. One of the children is Hixey L. Brooks. My husband's grandmother was Hixey Lula Brooks , married J. D. Williamson 29 March 1889 in Oglethorpe Co., Ga. We would like to find out who her mother and father were. We were told her mother's maiden name was Moody and Her Father's name Franklin Brooks. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
