IN MEMORY OFOUR PAST PETS
LUCKY GIRL |
Our sweet, baby girl. It was a sad day when we had to take you to have you put to sleep. You were such a good girl, and you brought a lot of joy into our lives. When we retired & moved to the mountains, you loved roaming around our 2 acres. We feel so bad that you left us, after only 5 years of living up here. We knew you were suffering too much though, with your arthritis, and other problems. When you couldn't walk any more, it broke our hearts. We hope your happy at Rainbow Bridge, & we sure hope your with Peppy & Maxie. We know you'll just love Peppy, & don't let that Maxie pick on you, like he always picked on the boys.
Mommy, Daddy, & Rascal miss you very much.
YOU WILL STAY IN OUR HEARTS FOREVER, UNTIL WE ALL CAN BE TOGETHER AGAIN. YOU WERE "OUR BEST GIRL IN THE WORLD", OUR DEAREST LUCKY GIRL.
PEPPY |
YOUR GONE, BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN, DEAR PEPPY
MAXIE |
MAXILLIAN the III
I'll never forget the day Dad brought you home behind his back, and all we could see was that little black tail wagging. You were the clown of the family, Dear Maxie. You were funny, revengeful, selfish, & you thought you were "THE BOSS". You grew up with the boys, and you treated them, like they were yours to rule. We'll always remember, the paneling you tore off the basement steps, when we pinned you in the basement, and the kitchen door you scratched at, until there was hardly any wood on the bottom of it. We had many laughs, when you & Peppy started your racing around the house. Especially the day, you continued running through the kitchen, dining room, living room, & hallway, round and round you went for about 6 times, until you realized that Peppy was sitting up on the steps, watching you chase "HIM". And it was so funny, how you cussed him out, when you saw him there.
You had to be the only 'beer drinking' Dachshund in the world.
YOUR GONE DEAR MAXIE BUT YOUR MEMORIES WILL BE IN OUR HEARTS AND MINDS FOREVER

HANSEL |
Hansel.. you were given to us sometime in 1960. You were 2 1/2 when they gave you to us. You were a runner that loved horses, and many times we got calls that you were in a barn somewhere or in a horse trailor, tormenting the horses. When we moved into this house in 1966, you ran away, and we never saw you again. The years you & Maxie were together, were memorable years for us. You dachshunds are characters.
TINKERBELL |
Tinker, you were my first dog, a little Manchester. A lady gave you to me, and you were so small, you fit in the palm of my hand. I left you home with my Mom & Dad, when I got married, for they loved you too. I hope your together with them, right now.
TO KNOW YOU WAS TO LOVE YOU. YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN
CHARLIE |

Charlie was Pap's dog, when he was growing up. I've heard so many stories about how smart he was. They couldn't even say or spell the word "Mountains", or Old Charlie was heading for the car. He lived to be 15 years old. That is Grandma Fay's writing on the bottom of the picture. She always called him 'Charles'.
YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN CHARLIE.
PAP SPEAKS OF YOU OFTEN.
DECEASED GRANDPUPPY |
PENNY |
Penny, you came into the family, when Andy was just a little boy. You were a little, red, miniature dachshund. You were always running around like a wild, little puppy, and your favorite thing was carrying rocks all over your yard, (even if they were bigger then you.)
WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU DEAR PENNY AND HOW YOU LOVED VISITING GRANDMA & PAP AND LAYING ON THAT SHELF ON GRANDMA'S COFFEE TABLE.
