Glenn died at the age of 36 from complications of Chronic Lyme Disease. Glenn was a loving husband to his wife, Kendra and a devoted father to his two small and beautiful children, Matt (age 6) and Heather (age 4). Glenn loved his family and loved doing things with his children. They loved the times spent together in the mountains. He was a wonderful father, feeding and changing and caring for his children while his wife worked at night. He spent all his free time with them as he thought the sun rose and set on these 2 precious darlings God had given him.

Glenn had a special knack of making everyone he knew feel like they were the most important person in the world. He would look at you and tell you "You're a winner!" and you just knew that you were. His gift to people was the gift of love; there may be a few who forget him as their life goes on but the ones who truly loved him will always remember and love him dearly and never let his memory fade.

Glenn was so proud of his brother Kenneth when he came home from the Gulf War. He had a surprise homecoming party for him with all the children from the Cohasset school where Glenn cooked full time along with his full time job in the evenings at the hospital. Glenn loved to be with his brothers. The hiking trips they went on and the camping trips they shared will always be remembered and cherished. Glenn was an avid sportsman; hunting, fishing, and backpacking with his family throughout Northern California was what he loved to do.

Glenn loved all sports: Football (especially the Chargers!); he played Pop Warner for about 6-8 years when he lived in El Cajon, California. He also loved baseball, basketball, and karate, having earned a brown belt in KenPo Karate. He loved to cook, learning the skill at Timber House Restaraunt in Chester, California where he spent his high school years. He moved to Chico, California and worked in the hospital where he met his wife, Kendra. They were married on August 5, 1990.

The struggle with Chronic Lyme Disease was extremely difficult for him as well as his family. It is our hope that by sharing this we can help others deal with and understand this devastating disease. If Glenn had been diagnosed with Lyme Disease when he was bitten by a tick in 1994 and had received antibiotics, he would still be alive today. It is our hope and prayer that Lyme Disease will be recognized for the dangerous disease that it is. And by doing so, Glenn's death would not have been in vain. We love you Glenn and always will and will keep up the fight against Lyme Disease.
Lovingly submitted by Glenn's parents Beverly and Henry Nave
