Chaka

Chaka was a blue heeler mix, chosen because she was different than her peekapoo and cocka poo mix litter mates. She was 15 years old when she died from breast cancer.

Her vet told me that I would know in my heart when it was time for her to go, and although it was by far the hardest thing I ever had to do, I knew it was time. I stayed with her and my baby girl wagged her tail almost till the end. I miss chaka so much, I miss those big brown eyes, I miss her not being there at the door when I get home (she always knew when I was on my way home) but most of all I miss her unconditional love for me, for she truly was my best friend. I miss you so much Chaka, but I know some day we will meet at the rainbow bridge.
