in the Indexes of the Christchurch Overseers of the Poor's Apprentice
Indentures Record
- I forwarded them to Bill Crant and to Thomas Cole but
feel they might be useful to those reading your pages.

1698/99 Isaac SOUTHWELL, son of Henry seafaring man "who hath for many years
absented himself from his great family beyond the sease..........
to Richard BURT of Christchurch, fish planter in Newfoundland
(I see there was a Richard BURT mentioned in the WARNS ledgers, too late for
this man but a descendent maybe)

1698/99 Richard MORRIS son of Elizabeth, widow with bond, to John COLLENS
fish planter in "OULD PERLIACAN" for catching and making fish in
Newfoundland.

1773 Thomas BOCK jun to Samuel SAVERY of Old Perlican, Newfoundland for
catching and curing codfish.
