Found out from Harold L. Barrett that Old Perlican has the oldest grave
marker known in Nfld.  It is dated 1714 for James Parot.  The stone is
located 200 ft. east of Quinlan's fish plant in a field by itself.  Thought
you would like to know that bit of info.
