These are our first year visitors!
* Our very first mascot came from Georgia. Patches came for a visit in November 1998.
* Next we had Milky Way of Virginia and Rascal of Missouri for January 1999.
* We had two mascots in February. Toady came from Florida, and Morris from New Jersey.
* Sly Fox snuck over from Virginia in April.
* We had a very busy May. Tessie arrived from California first. Next Oreo from Massachusetts and Katie Wildcat from Kansas arrived together. Last but not leastFloppy Flamingo flew in from Maryland.
* Kitty Cadette arrived just in time to go to GS camp & EFY with Tara. She came in June from Ohio.
* Taffy Terrier came to us in July from Virginia.
Our second year was calmed down just a bit. We learned a lot from trying to host each mascot for a month then get it out in-time to meet it's next host. We then began experimenting exchanging mascots for 1 or 2 months at a time to see how things would go!
** Our first critters for the 2nd year came to us in December 1999. They were Sherlock from Massachusettes, and Sabrina from Arizona.
** In January 2000 Betty Butterfly came to us from Kansas.
** Batty flew in the night from Tennesse in Febuary.
** The March hair came abit late when (Briar Rose) hopped in from Pennsylvania in April on the tail feathers of Loosy Goosy (from Oregon).
After two years of hosting a wonderful batch of critters. We came to the conclusion that 2 month visits were so much easier on us and those who hosted our mascots
*** We began our 3rd year in October 2000 when Jelly Bean rolled in from Oregon.
*** Then Blizzard blew in from South Dakota in November.
*** Leapping over frm Illinois during the months of December 2000 & January 2001 were Syd & lil' buddy.
*** We just sent Honey Bear (of Niagara Falls NY) and Pete Jr. (of New Jersey) on their way who stayed with us during February & March.
*** Tyler the armadilla just arrived for the months of April & May.
