Muster Roll of Captain Edmund Ruffin, Jr Company of
Cavalry from the County of Prince George, Virginia known as the
"Prince George Cavalry ". This Company of
Cavalry constitutes a part of the force of the Virginia
Volunteers called into service of
The state by the Governor, under and ordinance of the state
Convention adopted April
17, 1861, and is to serve for one year from the 18th day of May
1861, unless sooner dis-
charged,
This Company was enrolled for active service at Fort
Powhatan, Virginia on
the 18th day of May 1861. This Company was Mustered in as
Company"F" 13th
Regiment VA Cavalry.
