Spectrum Cats

You wait alone in silence, but then realise it isn't so quiet. You can hear the chorus of insects and birds. It is an enchanting natural melody. You focus on the particularly beautiful song of a nearby bird. It seems quite close, right above you. You stand and look into the tree. It is a gorgeous bird. When the creature notices you, it flutters off, and you start to sit back down. Before you're seated, you hear the leaves rustling and look back up. You see the glow of two almond eyes. The green cat climbs down the tree and stups furitively towards you. You lean down, and the cat darts away. You give chase but are unable to catch up and have to stop to catch your breath. The cat stops several yards ahead of you and turns. It takes a few steps toward you, challenging you to try to catch it. You slowly and casually walk around the cat as it watches warily. Then you give chase in the other direction. The cat constantly checks to make sure you're behind it, and not looking, it runs into the pet carrier. You close the door.
