Here's another twist in the old family lineage. Did you notice the names Manoel da Costa Amor and Maria Reis on the previous page? Well, they show up again on this page. Seems two of their grandchildren (a couple of first cousins) decided to marry one another. According to Jeff Foxworthy, the fact that my family tree is somewhat resistant to conventional forking may mean that I just might be a redneck. Of course, he probably wasn't talking about Portuguese family trees. In any case, I have yet to find a single ancestor named either Bubba or Billy Joe, so I'm probably safe.
