I am a Environmental Geologist with Woodward Clyde Diamond and work in Charlotte, North Carolina. We sold our home in Audubon, Pennsylvania, and bought a log home (inside and out) in Belmont, North Carolina. Belmont sits right next to Charlotte, with the Catawba River separating the two communities. A log home is wonderful in that it is very low maintenance. I LIKE that part! Gives me more time to do things I want to do.....like watch the races and maybe head out to the Charlotte Motor Speedway for a race or two or three or.......
I am Scoutmaster of Troop 62 here in Belmont and all of my boys, Eric, Kyle and Spencer are members of the troop. We've gone on some pretty good trips, including a trip to Carolina Beach State Park earlier this year. On that trip, we helped clean up the beaches so the loggerhead turtles could come and make their nests. The last hurricane did a number of the beach and the State Park officials were afraid that the turtles would not come back. Our troop worked hard on a long weekend off from school.
One of the things I like to do to relax is watch NASCAR racing. Follow Bobby LaBonte; he's my driver of choice.
