Here are a few photos from our trip to Boston over the 4th of July, 1998. Click on any of the pics to get the full size version:

Steve and Amy on an anchorHere we are at the old navy ship yard in Boston. This is where the USS Constitution (Old Ironsides) is docked. We didn't want to stand in line to see it, so we just took a few pics.

The House of the Seven GablesThis is the "House of the Seven Gables" that the story was written about. It is in Salem, about 15 minutes North of Boston. We went to a witch museum while we were in Salem.

fireworksThis is a time exposure of the fireworks over the Charles River in Boston. It was a great show. The Boston Pops performed for the estimated 500,000 people that came out for the 4th of July.

Pier on Nantucket IslandThis picture was taken on Nantucket Island. Amy and I spent the day there. It was really nice. We took lots of photos and videos of the houses and scenery there.

Plymouth RockThis is Plymouth Rock. We stopped in Plymouth on our way back from Nantucket. It was a little smaller than we were expecting, but it was still impressive.
