I just love Mondays. It's getting a little warm, though, and the ice bottle that my slave uses to cool me off keeps leaking all over my territory. Still, there are so few complaints to make about a day when everyone comes home eager to pet me.
One of my minor slaves has been very obedient lately. He has been cutting young maple saplings for me to play with each day. Could it be I've finally managed to train him? After all of this time, I was beginning to worry that I'd have to put him up for adoption because he was untrainable. I suppose a little bit of patience really can pay off with pets.
The primary slave has been keeping the garden up quite well. If only she would stop pulling those lovely dandelions and clovers out. She just doesn't appreciate a good crop when she sees one. If she'd let good things like that alone, she would have much more time to play with me. Oh well, this is but a minor concern on such a beautiful day!
There has only been one day so far which was so hot that I couldn't bear to move away from my ice bottle. Since then, the weather has been quite obliging!
You know, if only Hazel would stay out of my territory, all would be well in my Universe!
