This time, we asked you to
name the dogs associated with the following political
figures:

3. Richard Nixon, while in office! (hint: the answer is
NOT Checkers)
4. Franklin D. Roosevelt
5. Robert Dole
Smiley Riley, a
Golden Retriever, sent us the first response with five
answers correct... 1) "Him" &
"Her", 2) "Liberty", 3) "King
Timahoe", 4) "Fala" and 5)
"Leader". It should be noted that several other
equally correct answers were receivd (LBJ's
"Yuki", and Nixon's "Pasha"). Thanks

And now, we're pleased to share photos of our first
winner, Ripley, shown here with his woobie both
"before" and "after". They don't call
him "RIPley" for nothin'! Ripley reports that
his woobie was dispatched in approximately three hours,
after a fine adventure in a horseshoe pit!
