In Memory of ... "WANTED"
Gone, but certainly not forgotten. Steve a/k/a WANTED was tragically killed in a car accident March 1, 1997. This page has been created to share some of his humor with you.
WANTED, who lived in Wyoming, left us in stitches nearly every time we chatted. Wish I had saved other e-mails detailing the unusually interesting and quite hilarious life he led, but alas, hindsight is better than foresight. *sigh*
Many stories centered around his daughters or fishing expeditions. The most memorable story about fishing was the time his daughter caught a huge--and I mean huge--cat fish. After landing it in the boat, WANTED was looking around for pliers to unhook the fish and his daughter started screaming something about a snake. Snake? Wasn't in the boat, and not outside of the boat! Where?!?
Coming out of the fish's mouth!! Seems the catfish had just had lunch!!
Below I share with you the last e-mail ever received from WANTED. It may well be the last e-mail he ever sent before his untimely death. Despite the sadness of heart, he MUST be remembered as the kind, fun, and crazy sort of guy he was ....

Howdy!!!!
We got this new-old air compressor (bought at an auction) my boss leased it out and I was supposed to get it running...I did all the prep things and fired it up...they said they needed lotsa pressure so I turned the regulator up and had 350PSI on it...thought I should see if the compressor oil needed to be checked with it running...well guess what....the compressor oil tank pressures up with the compressor....pulled the cap offen it and blew 20 gals of 10W all over hell!!!! had a strong north breeze....covered everything for three hundred yard with oil....including the whole crews personal vehicles....12 of the companies, and a Game and Fish pickup and horse trailer that was going down the Highway....I'm not a popular fella round here today....I'm talking oil DRIPPING off guys rigs.....*LOL*
Well hope ya have a good day....probably on the HOG, uh???? Going to watch the fight tonight with the only guy at work that will talk to me....Have a good weekend see ya later....
