This is the paper submitted in conjunction with the oral presentation mentioned on Jassu's page. Since that time my views have modified somewhat. I am NOT a professional
trainer or breeder. I consider myself a learned amateur.
I present the paper here, not to belittle any differing opinion, but rather to foster discussion about the wonderful GSD breed of which we are all so fond.
It is presented in it's entirety, complete with all references to the works cited. The compilation is completely my own as is the 'sandwich' theory. Other than specific quotes so noted, I am the sole author and the owner of this report. I point this out
for the benefit of a certain publisher, who while not publishing the report did not return the copy submitted.
BTW. I got an 'A+' on both the oral presentation and the paper, with the notations 'Excellent' and 'Very Professional'. The oral presentation ran over the allotted 15 minutes by 30 minutes and I received a standing ovation from the audience. Wow! I
doubt if I'll ever give as good a speech again! What did it is that I pushed my notes aside and spoke from the heart. I knew my notes well and basically followed their sequence, but I mentally stepped back from the podium and just spoke from my
heart.
