6th December:

Stephen won the award for Hero of '99 at the Smash Hits Poll Winner's Party held yesterday in London =o)) Ronan picked up the awards for Best Parent in Pop and Most Fanciable Male (Steve should have won that one!!!). I'll be putting up my own review of Smash Hits in the concert reviews section very soon so watch out for it!!! .

6th December: An article in The Sun (a British tabliod newspaper) claims that Stephen wants to adopt a child (can't you just imagine Steve as a daddy, that's just too cute!!)!

*shock horror* the new Boyzone single charted at number 3 in the UK yesterday...it's Boyzone's second lowest single debut chart position (So Good charted at number 3, and Coming Home Now got to number 4)...and this despite having both Steo and Ro's lovely vocals and the wonderful disappearing-people video!!!

According to Steve, his debut solo single will not now be Bright Eyes (*sniff* I don't know about you, but I was looking forward to it for so long...it's a shame it's not gonna be released in January...!) But instead the single will be a new song written by Steve (yay!!) called A New Beginning...! (can't wait to hear it!) For those going to see Boyzone on their forthcoming UK tour, you will have the chance to hear Stephen singing Bright Eyes live...although it doesn't look likely that it's going to hit the shops any time soon...we'll just have to wait 'til Steve's solo album comes out (later next year) to hear it on CD...
