Instructions for submitting your Shih Tzu photos

The Image

1. Photo must be of a Shih Tzu.
2. Image should be in jpg, jpeg or gif format. Most photographs look better in jpg. If you have your image in a different format, I'll try to convert it for you.
3. If you can, please send me a zip file containing your image(s). You can do this using a package like WinZip.
4. If the image is part of your webpage now, just send me the URL and image filename. I'll get it.
5. Try to pick an image that is not too overexposed.
6. I reserve the right to turn down any photo for any reason and alter photos sent to match size and quality standards.

Getting the image to me

1. You can e-mail the image(s) or the zip file containing the image(s) (as an attachment) to me at shihtzu_only@oocities.com
2. If you would like to send more than 1 photo per dog, I will pick the one that I think is best.
3. If you have a picture but it needs scanned (converted to an image), you may send it to me by regular mail and I will scan it for you (free of charge). Enclose a S.A.S.E. if you would like the picture returned to you.
4. If you have any questions or need any help, confused, etc. send me a message to shihtzu_only@oocities.com. I'll figure something out to get your photo.

Information for the photo album

1. Information you must send: Your name, dog's full name (if applicable), dog's call name.
2. I'd like to know the city/state or city/country where you are located but this is not absolutely necessary.
3. If you would like text to appear underneath the photo, send that with the picture. This could be a story, small caption to match the picture, etc. Please don't send anything of a commercial nature.
4. Please let me know if you would like your picture linked to your website or e-mail address.

My promise to you

1. I will only alter photos to improve them for web publication.
2. I will not authorize anyone, other than the owner of the photo, to use any picture from this site.
3. I will forward all requests to use photographs to the person who submitted it.
4. I will use our Shih Tzu Discussion Forum to share information with you about the album.
5. I will update your information, photo or caption when I receive your e-mail request.
